If the Sharjah Investment Development Authority is, and it is, the driving force that is transforming Sharjah as a key investment, tourism, cultural and business destination.

Then my guest is the driving force, behind the driving force.

My guest is one of the key leaders in contributing to Sharjah’s economic development growth.

From 2009-2018, as the CEO, he led the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). An entity created to invest in infrastructure projects, to modernize and develop existing ones, creating magnificent projects and exciting events throughout Sharjah.

As their CEO, my guest oversaw many significant projects such as the Al Majaz waterfront, Al Noor Ssland, The Heart of Sharjah, Kalba Eco-tourism and joint ventures with Eagle Hills and Sustainable city.

Today, he is the Executive Chairman of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).

My guest leads a team of over 400 people.

Working on projects totaling over 8 Billion Dirhams across a range of sectors that include, health care, tourism, mobility, logistics and many more.

My guest is highly regarded and well known, locally, regionally and globally.

He has received numerous awards, like the Middle East CEO of the Year.

But, he is not the kind of man who is driven by recognition.

From what I know and what we have all seen of him.

My guest is driven by his purpose and love for the Emirate of Sharjah, and also the United Arab Emirates.
